Derya Doğan
Graduate Student Coordinator
Derya has been with the team since summer 2019 and was one of the Interfaith America co-project leaders which was a sub-project of the Muslim Voices in 2022-2023. She is a double-major Ph.D. candidate in Education Policy Studies and Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures. In her research she focuses on citizenship education, contemporary times of Islamic education through the lens of comparative religious K-12 and international Islamic universities.
Darby Delacy Fitzsimmons

Darby FitzSimmons is a sophomore at the O'Neill School studying Law and Public Policy with a minor in Homeland Security. Previously, she worked at the Indiana University African Studies Department and has also run social media for various organizations including United Rural Democrats and Capyverse. At IU, she participates in sketch comedy, Alexander Hamilton Society and is an alumna of the Civic Leaders Center.
